Biography
From a young age, I knew my calling in life would revolve around uplifting others. In the beginning of my undergrad, I knew that I was meant to be in a field where I could make an impact in someone’s life.
I believe a positive, safe, non-judgmental environment supports clients in healing. The foundation of therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship that is built on trust and commitment. I believe it is important, as the therapist, to embody authenticity, in order for clients to be able to express their vulnerability and to show up as they are. It is my duty to provide the support needed for each client’s unique story. In the therapeutic journey, there are no issues too big or too small to process. It is my duty to provide the support needed for each client’s unique story.
As a therapist, I feel it is imperative to meet my clients exactly where they are because there is not one therapy approach that fits all. I provide a warm and present atmosphere in the first interaction with my potential client. I genuinely love meeting people and hearing their life stories and I look forward to getting to know my client for who they are. I work alongside my clients to help subside any fears or nervousness about the stigma of therapy. I provide individual, couples or family therapy. I have extensive experience working alongside my clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief/loss and trauma. I am an EMDR trained therapist who also utilizes CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy.
